ED BROWN ISN’T MAGIC; IT JUST LOOKS THAT WAY
At almost 53 years old and still family-owned, Ed Brown’s unrelenting standards and good old-fashioned engineering allow their gunsmiths to take a pistol like the S&W M&P and recreate it in such a way that it deserves the name Fueled by Ed Brown. For the last month I have had the opportunity to carry, test and use my second Ed Brown Fueled by M&P 2.0 Pistol.
Springfield Armory ECHELON Takes Point!
Springfield’s got a whole new force multiplier called the Echelon, and it’s definitely taking point. If an XD, Hellcat, and SIG 320 had the world’s weirdest three-way and had a baby, this would be a result. There are lots of spiffy new bells and whistles, but you can clearly see the heritage of the pistol underneath.
SPRINGFIELD ARMORY PRODIGY 1911 DOUBLE STACK
The Springfield Armory Prodigy is a modular, wide body, double stack ultra capacity 1911 pistol. Colloquially known as a 2011 style pistol. The original patents for this modular style 1911 pistol were granted back in 1994. Ironic since that was the start of the 94 Assault Weapons Ban. Think about it..what a time to develop and release an ultra capacity pistol. None the less, the 2011 race gun style pistols from companies like STI, SVI etc, dominated the USPSA/IPSC shooting games
Langdon Tactical-Tuned Springfield XD-E Pistol
The base Springfield Armory XDE is a fantastic pistol that is basically alone in its class. The single stack XDE is a hammer-fired double action/single action pistol. Being a single stack firearm means that compared to other DA/SA pistols this pistol is thin thin thin.
