The new sight is going to be called the TFX. Truglo bills the TFX sight system as the next generation of TFO with some of the following features.

Since the TFO's were released for the M&P series several years ago and the Shield has only been released to the public less that two years. The M&P TFO was never designed with the Shield in mind.
